From the Owner
Hello! Thank you for taking the time to learn more about EcoChic Upcycled Plant Design & Care. I'm Bre Blankenship, the founder and passionate plant enthusiast behind EcoChic. I grew up in a family of self-proclaimed “plant killers,” but I was always drawn to the beauty and tranquility plants bring to a space. This fascination sparked a journey of trial, error, and endless curiosity, starting with propagation cuttings gifted by friends and evolving into an ongoing hunt for new additions on Facebook Marketplace. Today, I've cultivated the urban jungle of my dreams, and I’m excited to help others achieve the same in their spaces!
EcoChic took root during my final semester at the University of Missouri-Kansas City, where I participated in the Regnier Institute E-Scholars Program, a venture accelerator designed for budding entrepreneurs. Throughout the program, I interviewed potential customers, connected with fellow founders and mentors, and built the foundation for a viable, scalable business. It was an incredible journey that culminated in presenting EcoChic at the E-Scholars Demo Day, pitching my vision to a room full of peers, mentors, and university staff.
At EcoChic, we remain committed to our founding goal: making plant care more accessible, affordable, and sustainable. My mission is to help others connect with natural elements daily and create little moments of joy that come from watching plants grow and thrive. Through EcoChic, I hope to build a community of plant lovers and create an environment that fosters learning and growth.
Thank you for joining me on this journey. Whether you're a seasoned plant parent or just starting, I'm here to help you turn a new leaf and be EcoChic, one plant at a time!
